Week of Special Programs on Radio 4VEH for Celebration of Bible Day
[Churches in Haiti celebrate Bible Day the second Sunday of December]
By His Word, God created this beautiful universe, according to the first chapter of the first book of the Bible, Genesis. In creating man, and putting him in the garden, God gave us the capacity to relate to one another, through words, and to be able to explain our environment, our emotions, our very being.
The creator of the universe inspired men from different generations, different levels of education and knowledge, from different levels of society to write the 66 books that make up the Bible, the revelation of the plan of God for each and every one of us.
Through the Bible, God explained to us, from creation to eternity, where we come from, why we are here, and where we’re going. Still today, God speaks through the pages of the Bible about the present and the future of humanity, as well as details of our relationship with Him and those around us.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1
Radio 4VEH, the Evangelistic Voice of Haiti, following its tradition to train and inspire, is opening the Bible with listeners from Monday 2 to Saturday 7 December 2013 to consider the theme for this year’s Bible Day celebration: Hold on to your Bible so that no-one takes your crown.

The Bible in Haitian Creole, the heart language of every Haitian, was first published in 1985. Through the daily Bible reading program, as well as Bible teaching, preaching and study throughout the day, Radio 4VEH seeks to help listeners, many of whom cannot read, to know and engage with God’s Word, so that it becomes written on their hearts, and lived out in their daily lives.
Please pray for this week’s special programs, that many people will grow in their faith as they engage with the Bible daily.
